Three-Day Technical Training Programme on Motor and Engineering, was held at ITC Fortune Park Panchwati, Howrah, on 12th, 13th, and 14th October 2025, under the aegis of the Indian Institute of Insurance Surveyors and Loss Assessors (IIISLA) West Bengal Chapter.

Mr. Yogesh K. Khinchi, General Manager, National Insurance Company Ltd was the Chief Guest. Mr. Khinchi highlighted that such technical training initiatives are essential for improving the quality of loss assessment, promoting uniformity in reporting standards, and aligning practices with regulatory expectations. He commended IIISLA’s efforts in advancing structured skill development and reaffirmed National Insurance Company’s commitment to fostering technical excellence and ethical professionalism within the insurance survey fraternity.

Mr. Rishi Partap Bhasin, President, IIISLA speaking on the occasion mentioned that “Our core focus remains customer satisfaction and the vision of insurance for all,”. “Surveyors must broaden their horizons and think beyond small claim limits. We are ambassadors of insurers – our goal is not to pull down an assessment, but to satisfy the client through fairness and balance. If a small justified benefit prevents a grievance, you are the best assessor. Technical knowledge is vital, but practical learning and interaction with experienced faculty will truly shape professional growth.”
