In line with its vision to deliver best-in-class solutions and ensure customers well being,  Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Limited (Tata AIA Life) announced the launch of eLife, a fully mobile and secure electronic solution that simplifies the process of buying and selling life insurance solutions.

Mukesh Dhawan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Distribution Officer of Tata AIA Life, launched eLife to the media in Guwahati, Assam. The occasion also witnessed the unveiling of Tata AIA Life’s new generation Premier Agency Brand Mascot Smartee.

An expert on Tata AIA Life’s insurance solutions, Smartee analyses various needs of the customers to present the right solution for the right life stage of the customer, through a combination of life insurance products.

Speaking on the occasion,  Dhawan said, Our eLife innovation is a reflection of our strategic intent to empower our sales force with smart tools and convenient solutions that will serve our customers faster and even reduce the paper involved. It will allow our customers to engage with the Company with ease, by making the entire buying experience of life insurance simpler and enjoyable.

Dhawan also addressed Tata AIA Life’s Premier Agency at the Power Up Fest, a distribution outreach program for its Agency force, organised in Guwahati.

Tata AIA Life believes that providing the right advice the right way will bridge the Protection Gap in India and also facilitate long term saving habits amongst Indians. This prompted the Company to launch Premier Agency which is steadily growing with a network of over 160 branches across India.

A recently concluded event of Premier Agency – the MDRT Experience in Hyderabad, saw more than 600 Premier Agents participating from the AIA Group in Asia.  The event was aimed at developing professionalism amongst participants by sharing ideas and new strategies with internationally established life insurance and financial services professionals.

Strengthening the Premier Agency force continues to remain one of Tata AIA Life’s strategic priorities. The Company has undertaken some key initiatives to create a formidable distribution force of highly productive advisors.

It is, probably, the first life insurance company in the Country to implement Career Choice, a talent selection profiling tool, developed by the leading life insurance research, consulting and professional development organization LIMRA, to improve the overall quality of the agency force. As a part of this initiative, all prospective advisors of Tata AIA Life’s Premier Agency have to go through the Career Choice profiler before applying for an agency license with Tata AIA Life.
