PhonePe has introduced a new home-insurance line with premiums starting at ₹181 a year (incl. GST) and sum insured options from ₹10 lakh up to ₹12.5 crore. Buyers can insure both structure and contents through an end-to-end digital journey on the PhonePe app with instant policy issuance.
The cover spans 20+ risks—including fire, floods, earthquakes, riots and theft—and is available to homeowners with or without loans. Policies involve zero paperwork/inspection and are accepted by banks and lending institutions for home-loan requirements, aiming to make property protection accessible across budgets.
PhonePe says the launch expands its insurance marketplace with flexible limits and simplified pricing, delivering protection in minutes via the app.
