TIMES NOW, India’s No. 1 English news channel partnered with Max Bupa Health Insurance Company to host the unique multi-city initiative – Max Bupa Walk for Health on Sunday, November 4th. Mumbaikars kept their promise to take the first step to health as they turned up in thousands this Sunday morning for Max Bupa Walk for Health in association with TIMES NOW.
The event saw a turnout of numerous Bollywood celebrities also, such as Anupam Kher, Anurag Kashyap, Kunal Kapoor, Shobha De, Dino Morea, Jackky Bhagnani, Shaina NC, Shama Sikandar, Poonam Dillon, Aditi & Aarzoo Gowitrikar. Walk for Health was carried simultaneously across Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi.
The atmosphere was exhilarating with walkers, from all quarters, descended at the venue to show solidarity to the cause of Walking as the easiest way to a healthy living; The participants were enthralled and got into the groove with some LIVE performances and variety of entertainment acts with kids getting an opportunity of meet & greet session and photo op with their favorite toon characters viz Cartoon Network’s Superhero Ben 10 and Pogo’s champ Chhota Bheem. Besides the bevy of celebrities and renowned personalities, the participants had an eclectic mix of gender and all age groups ranging from regular walkers to plain enthusiasts.
On spot Contests like ‘The Youngest Walker’, The Oldest Walker’ and ‘Most Bonded family’ added to the dash of excitement and had participants turn up in hordes to make their nominations.

The Max Bupa Walk for Health presented a plethora of entertainment for participants. The crowd was entertained by a DJ and performances by stilt walkers and jugglers. Also, training on Zumba exercises was provided by Fitness First during the event. The RJ engaged with noted celebrities attending the event.
