Max Life Insurance Company Ltd. (“Max Life” / “Company”) today announced the launch of its unique initiative called ‘Protect a Smile’ wherein Max Life will fund one year’s education of an underprivileged child for every death claim it settles for its ‘Term Insurance Plans’ during the rest of the current financial year. Max Life will partner with AICAPD, a national level NGO working towards the upliftment of children of economically and socially underprivileged and backward people. The initiative will enable a life insurance policy to not only financially protectthe family of the policyholder but also empower societyby making a difference to the lives of underprivileged children who have little to no access to basic education.
Max Life is known among its stakeholders and customers to possess one of the best claims’ management practices in the industry. Max Life has consistently been amongst the leaders in claims paid ratio in the Indian life insurance industry (private sector) for the last 3 years[1]. The life insurer’s initiative ‘Protect a Smile’ is in alignment with its endeavour to further widen the impact of the claim’s settlement, considered to be the biggest moment of truth for the policyholder’s family. Building on this strong association, Max Life’s ‘Protect a Smile’ initiative looks to drive a larger social objective of empowering underprivileged children.

Coinciding with the life insurer’s eighth ‘Protection Day’, the initiative underscores Max Life’s commitment towards protecting larger communitiesfrom life’s hardships and creating a financially secure society, rooted in care and harmony. Through its ‘Protect a Smile’ initiative, Max Life aims to enrich the legacy of the policyholder. Eight months ago, the Company announced that it will dedicate 6th of every calendar month as ‘Protection Day’ towards driving awareness regarding financial protection.
The initiative will be implemented for all term plan policies whose death claims are settled between 1st December ’19 till 31st March 2020. Max Life will continue to provide its high quality claims payment support to the nominees of our policyholders to ensure a financially secure future.
