All insurance companies are now permitted to release joint sales advertisements with their corporate or micro insurance agent without the prior approval of the insurance regulator.
According to a circular issued by IRDA (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority), which has modified the existing advertising norms, the joint advertisements released should be filed with the regulator in seven days from the date of release. These modified guidelines will come into force with immediate effect, the circularsaid.
