Shriram General Insurance Company is selling over 40,000 motor insurance policies per month through its mobile application M-Nova, according to the company. The policies being sold through the mobile application account for about 12 % of the total policies issued by Shriram as of February 28 in the last financial year .
“During this period, the company also registered a premium growth of more than 150 per cent in issuing policies through its mobile app,” the insurer said in a press release.
