Driven by its growth in the motor and the health insurance sector, Liberty Videocon General Insurance Company is targeting a gross premium of Rs 100 crore by March 2014. The Mumbaibased insurer will be increasing the number of branches from the present eight to 25, and the agent force, to 200. It would also be tying up with, among others, auto dealers.
“We have 28 products in the market, while some new products have been filed with the regulator,” said Roopam Asthana CEO and Whole Time Director at Liberty Videocon General Insurance Co. Ltd.. On the industry scenario, he said there was good potential for growth of the motor and health insurance segments.
