Vadodara Incident Leaves Six Injured in Insurance Office Fire

A fire broke out at the Shriram General Insurance Company office on OP Road, Vadodara, around 11 am, injuring six people, two critically. The critically injured are hospitalized with burns and injuries from glass shards. The fire, occurring on the third floor of a commercial complex, caused significant smoke and shattered glass.

Fire officer Amit Chaudhary noted that the initial call suggested an air conditioning unit blast, but preliminary inspections did not confirm this. Forensic experts are investigating the cause. Eyewitnesses reported the rapid spread of the fire, which shattered glass partitions and window panes.

The injured individuals include Vikas Solanki, Gautam Solanki, Vipul Chauhan, Achint Parikh, Ushal Desai, and Punita Antani. Simultaneously, another fire at a garment shop on Productivity Road caused property damage but no injuries. Fire officials are yet to determine the cause of both fires.
