The Finance Ministry has issued instructions for the swift settlement of insurance claims for those impacted by the recent floods in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman emphasized that the Department of Financial Services has directed insurance companies to offer complete support to flood-affected individuals. Furthermore, she urged the insurers to widely publicize the contact details of nodal officers responsible for assisting policyholders with their claims.
