1. Please refer to the Order dated 10th August, 2017 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition (Civil) No.13029 of 1985 in M.C.Mehta Vs. Union of India and Others, wherein the Hon’ble Court has directed Insurance Companies not to insure a vehicle unless it has a valid PUC certificate on the date of renewal of the insurance policy.
