Scope of Cover
Householder Umbrella Insurance is a package policy specially designed to meet the insurance requirements of a householder by combining under a single policy, a number of our standard policies usually taken by householders.

Comprehensive Coverages against various perils spread across different sections of the policy.

Flexibility to choose & customize the policy by selecting appropriate covers.

The Coverages are available at reasonably priced premiums.
The policy has five Sections :
Section :1
(A): Fire & Allied Perils, Building /flat
(B): Fire & Allied perils, contents
The Company will indemnify the Insured in respect of loss of or damage to the Contents/ furniture, fixture & fittings if owned by Insured whilst contained in the insured premises by Fire & Allied Perils.
Section: 2
Burglary
The Company will indemnify the Insured in respect of loss or damage to the contents whilst contained in the insured premises by Burglary and/or Housebreaking.
Section: 3
(A): T.V/Video Equipments
(B): Electronic equip/ MBD for other domestic Appliances.
The Company will indemnify the insured in respect of loss of or damage to the Television Apparatus due to:

Fire lightning, the explosion of gas in domestic appliances.

Bursting and overflowing of water tanks, apparatus or pipes.

Aircraft or articles dropped therefrom.

Earthquake fire and/or shock.

Flood, Inundation, Typhoon, Storm, Tempest, Hurricane, Tornado and Cyclone.

Riot, Strike, Malicious, terrorist Act.

Burglary and/or Housebreaking.

Accidental external means

Mechanical or Electrical breakdown.
Section: 4

Loss of Cash due to Assault on Insured: AOA/AOY=5000/5000

The Company will indemnify the Insured in respect of Loss of Money in the hands of the insured.
Section: 5
Personal Accident (for insured).
The Company shall pay to the Insured or his legal personal representative(s) in case the insured sustains any bodily injury.
General Exclusions:

Loss, damage, liability or expenses, whether direct or indirect occasioned due to War and related perils.

Loss or damage caused by depreciation or wear and tear.
-
Consequential Loss.
-
Legal Liability due to radioactivity from any nuclear weapons material.
