Tata AIG General, the pre-eminent general insurance provider has bagged the fifth position amongst the best companies to work for in the banking and financial services industry in a survey conducted by Business Today. The annual Best Companies to Work for in its 11th publication had respondents across 4,436Â companies from 323 towns and cities.
The Company was the only General Insurance player to be featured in this list of esteemed brands.
The survey, conducted by People Strong, a reputed HR consultancy firm for Business Today, asked for reasons which motivate employees to stay with any company. As per the votes received, the primary motivator for any employee was the career & growth opportunities offered by the organization.
A close second was the financial compensation and benefits received by the employees. Performance evaluation, HR initiatives and creating the right work life balance also scored high on the rating for creating a satisfactory and motivational workplace. The report also cited that the company brand image is considered as an important factor by potential employees.
