IndiaFirst Life Insurance has won three coveted awards for Media Innovation of the Year, Best in Communication Platform and Community and Social Welfare at the 6th INDYS Awards.
The company also won the Golden Award for Public Service and Silver Award for its Tabloid Newsletter – IndiaFirst Times – at the PRCI (Public Relations Council of India) 6th All India Corporate Collateral Awards 2012.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. P. Nandagopal, Managing Director & CEO, IndiaFirst Life Insurance said, “It is a matter of great pride for us at IndiaFirst Life Insurance to win these prestigious awards at the INDYS as well as the PRCI All India Corporate Collateral Awards.
I am delighted that they have recognized the role that IndiaFirst is playing in setting up benchmarks in areas of innovation, effective communication, public service and social welfareâ€.
IndiaFirst was awarded the Media Innovation of the Year for their special Jet Experience Zones. Targeting frequent fliers, this formed a part of their campaign for their ‘IndiaFirst Money Back Health Insurance Plan’.
This initiative enhanced customer engagement levels by introducing the product and its benefits to them in an exclusive zone. This innovation in the aviation sector was very well appreciated in the category domain and the quantum jump in the calls for action is testimony to this.
The unique Aerobridge Branding for IndiaFirst Money Back Health Insurance Plan at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad fetched the Best in Communication Platform. Complete exteriors, interiors, rotundas and floor standing units across all 5 aerobridges were branded. The dominance over aerobridges drew an incredible response from travelers as they experienced the effect for the first time.
The visibility, after installation, was huge – whether it was from inside planes, runways, inside SHA waiting lounges or alleys of aerobridges. Brand IndiaFirst reached out to the discerning travelers who would pass by and look at the medium while waiting for their flights or those waiting in their planes for disembarking.
“Think New and Do More are two of our guiding values. It is our constant endeavor to try and innovate to deliver superior value in all our initiatives. Today’s consumer is bombarded with an avalanche of communication from different spectrums of products and services. It hence becomes extremely difficult for brands to gain a distinct mind share.
Creating special experience zones that the customer consumes and engages with leads to far better recall and re-enforcementâ€, said Tamanna Khanna, Head – Marketing, IndiaFirst Life Insurance.
Both INDYS and PRCI recognized IndiaFirst Life’s commitment towards the public and society. Through the ‘Put India First’ activity, the company took the initiative of collecting and disposing the Indian Tricolour with due respect and dignity as stated in the Constitutional guidelines, and in the process was able to raise awareness amongst citizens about their duty towards the national flag.
On Independence day (15th August, 2011 evening and 16th August, 2011) IndiaFirst volunteers picked up the national flags from various places like markets, local trains, traffic signals and malls across Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad. This initiative was a huge success as close to 3.4 lakh flags were collected.
The silver award for Tabloid Newsletter went to IndiaFirst Times. The tabloid serves as the mouthpiece of the company and is an initiative to not only share happenings of the company & industry with the stakeholders but also bring them together on one platform to share their ideas.
