Private insurer HDFC Life has said that it has renewed its contract with the Indian Premier League team Rajasthan Royals as an associate sponsor for the fifth edition of the series.
The insurance firm has been associated with the Jaipur franchise since the last three years. “With a young team along with Rahul Dravid as captain and mentor and other top players, Rajasthan Royals will enter the competition as underdogs.
But I am confident that their self belief and self confidence will help perform to their best potential,” HDFC Life Executive Vice President Head (Marketing and Direct Channels) Sanjay Tripathy said in a statement. It added that it will continue to reward the best performing players with ‘Sar Utha Ke Jiyo-Most Valuable Player’.
The Rajasthan Royals coaching staff and the captain will select the Most Valuable Player from the Rajasthan Royals team, who will receive a cash incentive. Through a CSR initiative, the insurance company will enable under privileged children to watch the matches and interact with the cricketers.
