Max Bupa Health Insurance recently said that it plans to expand from its current strength of more than 1,800 network hospitals, 21 offices in 13 locations and 9,500 agents for the current fiscal, according to a media report.
In an interview to a print newspaper, Manasije Mishra, CEO, Max Bupa Health Insurance, said that the company also plans to open 12 more branches this fiscal.

According to Mishra, most Indians are not insured and more than 70% of healthcare expenses are self funded.
