ICEYE is expanding its partnership with Insurity to provide insurers with more detailed satellite-derived data for property risk assessment. The collaboration combines ICEYE’s Earth-observation capabilities with Insurity’s insurance technology platform, giving insurers access to information that can support property intelligence, exposure assessment and claims-related decision-making.

The expanded partnership is focused on making near-real-time Earth-observation data more useful within insurance workflows. Satellite information can help insurers assess physical conditions and changes affecting insured properties, particularly in areas exposed to floods, storms, wildfires and other natural hazards. Integrating this information into insurance technology platforms can reduce reliance on manual assessments and provide additional data for underwriting and claims processes.

The development highlights the growing role of satellite analytics and geospatial data in insurance risk management. More frequent and granular information can help insurers improve exposure monitoring, catastrophe-risk assessment and claims validation. As climate-related events create increasingly complex property risks, combining satellite intelligence with insurance platforms could support more data-driven underwriting and faster responses following major events.
