Hon. Governor of Maharashtra Shri C P Radhakrishnan, addressed the Foundation Day of the Insurance Brokers Association of India {IBAI), marking its Silver Jubilee. He commended IBAl’s vital role in strengthening insurance awareness and accessibility across India. Hon. Governor informed that Brokers have a vital role to play in implementing Pradhan Mantri’s Vision of ‘Insurance For All’ by 2047.
Highlighting the significance of insurance as a tool for social security and economic resilience, the Hon. Governor emphasized brokers as key enablers of trust and protection. He proposed collaborative insurance education initiatives with universities to nurture future professionals in the sector.
Congratulating IBAI on its 25-year journey, the Hon. Governor expressed confidence that India’s broker community would continue to play a pivotal role in shaping a financially secure and inclusive nation.
Hon. Governor released the Broker- Commemorative edition & the ‘IBAI & McKinsey Report’ and Felicitated the Past Presidents and secretaries on this occasion.
