Insurance Institute of India, Mumbai is hosting an international conference on “Principles of Sustainable Insurance” on 11th January at Vivanta by Taj- President, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai from 9 am to 5.30 pm.
The conference would discuss the principles of sustainable insurance which basically provide a global roadmap to develop and expand innovative risk management insurance solutions needed to promote renewable energy, water, food security, communities and environment, which are of vital importance to the insurance industry.
Shri J. Hari Narayan, Chairman, IRDA, would be the guest of honour. Mr Butch Bacani, Program Leader, UNEP FI PSI Initiative, Mr S. Roy Choudhury, Member(Life), IRDA and Dr T Jayaraman, Prof and Dean, School of Habitat Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences would also address the gathering along with several luminaries from the domestic and international insurance industry.
There would be senior delegates from several insurance companies as well as from the regulator. The conference has been intended to bring the Indian insurance industry closer to the global best practices through sharing knowledge.
